We’ll be showing Food Inc at the Thirroul Community Centre this Sunday night as the 2010 version of the Flame Tree’s (annual?) Soup and Film night. The night will be a community event open to members and non-members alike and all funds raised will go towards the co-op. There will be a variety of delicious organic soups on offer, fresh bread, gluten-free and vegan options, popcorn, cakes and warming chai. See the attached flyer for further details. We won’t be taking pre-bookings, so just turn up on the night armed with your bowl and cup. Any local businesses or community groups interested in holding a stall at the event should get in touch with us – a small number of stalls will be available for a fee.
If anyone can lend us a portable stove top (we need 3) so that we can streamline the soup service a bit more smoothly than last year, please reply to this email.
