No-one has trouble finding sweet things to buy, but if you want a bit of an indulgence without stepping too far outside your healthy eating habits, you can find your options are a bit limited. And if sugar, wheat or dairy aren’t suitable for you, you’ll have a hard time finding something you can eat in a lot of places.
But not at the Co-op!
Our treats are surprisingly healthy and also tick the local, healthy, unpackaged and organic boxes.
Handmade locally in Thirroul, we stock a variety of bliss balls and slices made from quality organic products.
Emma and Alisha from Raw Vibes in Woonona provide us with vegan, gluten free, dairy free and organic karma cookies and dehydrated crisps.
Made by Flame Tree Vollie Steph Meades, using all organic products fresh from the Co-op shelves these treats are also gluten, dairy and refined sugar free and will leave you reaching for more. Think freshly baked coconut muffins, caramel slice, cherry ripe, macaroons, hedgehog slice, fudge, coconut ice, brownies….each week we have something different, depending on what inspiration Steph draws from the Co-op shelves.
