Rod Logan
Rod Logan is our Chairperson, Produce Expert and helps oversee our store maintenance. Rod brings incredible expertise to our co-op community, with extensive experience in organic farming and land management. He also works with Green Connect as the Market Garden Coordinator and is a Co-Convener at Woonona Community Garden.

Sally Skyring
Sally has been integral to Flame Tree Co-op, serving as Director-Secretary on our board for many years. Her professional background in state government, law, and governance has been invaluable to our co-op, with Sally as our resident expert in cooperative operations and compliance

Lesley Tanswell
Lesley is our Director-Treasurer, and takes care of finance and supplier relationships while working closely with our store manager. Lesley is a retired Chartered Accountant and brings incredible financial expertise to Flame Tree Co-op, having previously supported the board as a volunteer bookkeeper before stepping up as Treasurer in July 2025. Here she is enjoying locally made food and wine at a farmers market in France!

Ellen is our Director of Volunteers/Active Members & Workplace Health and Safety. A Thirroul local and long-term co-op member, Ellen brings extensive professional expertise to help our co-op continue building a safe, healthy, and thriving community environment for both our team and members.

Mark Fetterplace
Mark is our Director of Waste Management and Operations, bringing his background as a retired vet and small business expert to Flame Tree Co-op. A dedicated community member actively involved in multiple local organisations including bush regeneration in Coledale. Mark works closely with our Active Members who are committed to reducing the co-op's environmental footprint and keeping our operations running smoothly.

Steph Lentz is our Director of Partnerships & Fundraising. Steph is an experienced strategic communications professional and published author, with a background in education. She’s passionate about sustainable food practices, and the way good food brings people together.

Robert Guaran
Robert is a regular co-op shopper who values the role community-owned food co-ops play in supporting healthy, local food systems. A retired medical practitioner, he brings extensive experience to the co-op board.
Through his medical career and governance roles, Robert has developed strong skills in operations, organisation, and collaborative decision-making. His experience contributes to the thoughtful stewardship and effective functioning of the co-op.
